Airstrip on 4 August 1962. MacRobertson Miller Airlines donated an Avro Anson aeroplane to Fairbridge  - not to fly, but as an attraction/plaything for the children. The plane was handed over to the Principal Mr HRM Allan by the then Managing Director of MMA, Captain Kleinig, and the Chief Pilot Captain Witham.

As above (0027) seems like a big day and a lot of interest. Right over on the right is Miss Gibson and to her right is Miss Middleton (Middy).

Final photo of the plane's arrival. It looks like that boy's had enough for today. Can anyone identify him? Probably a staff boy or a visitor as his cardigan and general dress doesn't fit the Fairbridge boy apparel of the era.
