I think this is the second party of boys to
arrive. They would have gone to the Old Farm at South Pinjarra. Judging by
the clothes and especially the caps, it certainly looks from this era. They arrived
in July, 1913 |

A fabulous portrait of a large
group of emigrants from 1935. The custom was to picture all
those that shared a common voyage to Australia. This is Party No. 37 which
left England on board the Otranto in August 1935 and arrived in Fremantle
on 1 October 1935. George Elliott spent virtually all his life at Fairbridge
Pinjarra and is
known to many people. He is that very small boy in the centre towards the
