MEM6407 SS Oriana - Evening meal menu dated 11 February 1964. The menu wine lists were rather scant. Only four wines were on offer - Liebfraumilch at 2 shillings a glass, Rhone Chateauheuf at 1/10 per glass, and 2 Australian wines  - Claret Chateau Tahbilk and Hock Australian Quelltaler both at one shilling a glass!

MEM6414 A page from souvenir of the "Australind" train that ran (and still does) from Perth to Bunbury and back again. This page features Pinjarra and mentions Fairbridge.
MEM6415 Sunday evening in the Cottages was letter writing time. Everyone had to write a letter to their parent/guardian, and the letters were vetted by the Cottage Mother. Here is one letter written in 1964. Typical grade seven style writing but not the neatest of hands. Letter is dated 22 May 1964.

MEM7601 Advertisement in the West Australian on 3 January 1976 for Cottage Mothers. The surroundings adverts have been left in case anyone wishes to apply, a little late though it may be.

MEM8001 A postcard of Fairbridge. Some of the pictures look 1950's or 1960's (judging by the bus model) but the dress style of the people looking at the cows looks much later (and so do the cows). Suggest this postcard was issued in the 1980's or thereabouts.
