Fairbridge Kids is the web presence of The Old Fairbridgians' Association of Western Australia. The Association was formed in 1930 and served, and still does serve, as a benevolent organisation with its main mission to enhance the welfare of Old Fairbridgian's - those children whose home for part of their lives was at the Kingsley Fairbridge Farm School at Pinjarra in Western Australia.

 

We attempt to present a small history of Fairbridge Farm Pinjarra, Western Australia through a series of photographs of Fairbridge people and the Fairbridge village, reflections of old Fairbridge people, press cuttings relating to Fairbridge, Fairbridge publications and, of course, communications from and about the most important element  - the children and staff who lived on the Farm, and the administrators and friends of Fairbridge who managed, financed and supported the organisation.

 

Presented are but a few snapshots of the lives of those people who resided at Fairbridge Farm Pinjarra from establishment in 1912 to present day. The intent of this site is to share some of Fairbridge's colourful history especially for those Old Fairbridgians and friends of Fairbridge who may have lost touch with Fairbridge or each other over the years.

 

Please take time to explore this site and reflect on a history of Fairbridge Farm Pinjarra. All ex-Fairbridge people are encouraged to submit photos or their stories that will help enrich this site and assist in preserving the Fairbridge memory. 

 

All ex-Fairbridge Kids are encouraged to become a member of the Old Fairbridgian' Association and enjoy our community, our social events,  and have a say in the future of the OFA and Fairbridge itself.
